Is this for real?

I was telling my boss's wife about the proposal today and it made me start thinking about it all over again, more than I already do. And I don't think I ever told you about the part where I said "Is this for real?" to E! Ha! After I opened the book, which had the picture of the ring and the words Will You Marry Me?, I turned to see E on his knee with a "for real" ring. But I was so shocked, I just had to ask, "Is this for real?"

I kind of forgot about it at the time, but now looking back, it is really funny that I had evidence that it was in fact, for real, but I thought I better ask anyway! Ha! How silly. So now, we have a running joke about cheesecake and "is this for real?".

That is about all I have, just thought I would share something to lighten your day! I am working away and making so many mental (and real lists about what all I need to do when I go home after work. I wish I could just pile all of my stuff in the living room so I could pack while watching TV because I am so lazy like that! HA! I mean, I do that to an extent, like bring my dishes and sit them on the couch and put them in boxes so I can watch TV and pack my kitchen at the same time! HA!

Have a great Wednesday! By the way, have I mentioned how much I love blogging because I meet some really awesome people? Because I have and it has been great connecting with people that I would have never met but whom I have so much in common with!

  1. What a fun story you will always remember!! :) I have also have to say that I have met some AWESOME women in the blog world, now I just wish they all loved closer to me!

  2. YES it's for real! Looking back now I wish I had eaten the piece of cheesecake before giving you the "present". We kind of forgot about the poor cheesecake after you opened the box.

  3. What an amazing proposal story it is!!! You will always have the book to cherish and remember that amazing moment!! Love chatting with you!!! And haha when I was packing up my last apt, I definitly brought everything into the living room so I could watch tv, so you are not alone and definitly not lazy!!

  4. sweet! :) And I'm so glad I've 'met' alot of the wonderful ladies I have! And I do the same thing whenever we are moving..which is of course quite frequently. If there isn't a TV near I'll just jam the radio! Haha

  5. Aw, I think it's cute that you asked him if it was for real. Hope you get all of the packing done.
